Help us get the It Gets Better book in schools and libraries across America

We started the It Gets Better Project to share messages of hope and possibility with LGBTQ+ youth. We share these messages through all forms of media, including the New York Times bestselling book, It Gets Better: Coming Out, Overcoming Bullying, and Creating a Life Worth Living.

The book is a collection of about 100 incredible stories from allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community. From the kid across the street to former President Obama, these stories provide hope to youth who may have trouble seeing the path to a bright future.

Your $25 contribution will enable us to send a copy of the book to a school library of your choosing. Contributions over $25 are also appreciated.

All book donations are anonymous. While your book donations will be shipped to the address you provide, your personal name and address will not be disclosed.

It Gets Better is a registered 501(c)3 organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Many LGBTQ youth can't picture what their lives might be like as openly gay adults. They can't imagine a future for themselves. So let's show them what our lives are like, let's show them what the future may hold in store for them.
